About
The All Nations Traditional Healing Centre
Traditional healing and counselling for people and families.

We are The All Nations Traditional Healing Centre. Traditional healing and counselling for people and families, request-driven, across listed First Nations in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba.
Practice is Indigenous: language, home fire, Sharing Circles, on-the-land work. The work is professional. Crew may include people who are not Indigenous when they are asked to help and they work under this practice. Circle of Trust is the office. There is no central building.
The All Nations Traditional Healing Centre sits on Turtle Island. We travel in relation to the treaties of the lands we are asked onto.
Residential schools and the Sixties Scoop struck family bonding at the time of life when a young person is meant to be claimed by their own people — puberty time, when identity is supposed to thicken into adult relations. That injury did not end when the buildings closed. It shows up as broken home fires, loss of language, addiction, and children taken again.
Ceremony and the home fire are the repair: identity, language, relations, and a place to stand. Youth are waking to culture. The work is to be ready when they ask.
Language carries the teachings. English is the interface of this version; Cree and Dakota live in the names, the greetings, and the optional fields. The first questions are still: where do you come from, and who are you related to.
Authenticity comes from lineage, apprenticeship, character, and being asked to work — not from a website title. Healers respond when asked. This system is request-driven.
Charles and Isabel Scribe began this as traditional practitioners. Traditional healing here is a professional, lifelong practice rooted in Indigenous language, lineage, home fire, and ceremony used for a specific purpose: to strengthen the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health of a person and their family.
There is no central office. The app is the office. Circle of Trust holds the records funding requires and the matching a family needs. What is said in counselling or ceremony stays handwritten with the healer. We do not publish ceremonial procedure.
Circle of Trust
Circle of Trust is the organisation’s office: request, schedule, and meet in a Sharing Circle.
A Sharing Circle is recorded as having taken place — date, community, type of gathering, and that the healer checked in at that community. That is how we can show work happened without filming the rite.
What is spoken in a circle stays with the healer. The system does not keep a transcript or a recording. Private rooms show “this room is not recorded.”
Families meet only in the room they were invited into. Other families and the public cannot open that room.
Continuity of care means we can serve a household over time when they ask again.
Two record layers
Do not collapse them. Circle of Trust holds that a Sharing Circle happened — date, community, type, healer check-in, attendance counts for funding. What is said stays handwritten with the healer. Default: we do not record video or audio from private sessions.
Glossary
Sharing Circle
The generic record of an interaction: private counselling, gathering, give-away, workshop, land-based day, making-relations gathering, or other community work. The record says that it happened and who was served. It does not teach the rite.
home fire
The place a person and a family stand — identity, language, relations, and a house that can hold ceremony when asked. Not a metaphor for a brand.
making relations
The work of tying people back to one another and to the community that asked. A type of Sharing Circle, not a networking event.
Medicine Lodge
A setting — grounds, rooms, residence — where work is done. The hub record lists beds and dining. It does not describe how a lodge is run.
on-the-land
Work done on the land a community names, including longer recovery plans when asked. Recovery here is reclaiming identity, family, language, and a grounded way of life.
Circle of Trust
The organisation’s office: request, schedule, and meet in a Sharing Circle. It is not a social network. What is spoken in a circle stays with the healer.
If you need help, send a request. If something went wrong, use the feedback path. Those details stay off the public homepage.
